Giant ACO drives pop health with analytics and big data
Rishi Sikka, MD, senior vice president of clinical transformation at Chicago’s Advocate Health Care, one of the nation’s largest ACOs, will deliver a featured presentation at the HIMSS and Healthcare IT News Big Data & Healthcare Analytics Forum, June 30-July 1 in New York City.
In his current role at Advocate, Sikka has system-level responsibility for clinical operations – including pharmacy, critical care, quality, safely, and clinical and business intelligence. His work has helped reduce lengths of stay, admission and lowered overall costs at Advocate.
His presentation, “Population Health: From Thinking to Action to Data” on June 18, will give attendees a framework they can use to guide their population health strategies.
Sikka joins nearly 30 other speakers at the forum including leaders from Johns Hopkins University, Veterans Affairs, Penn Medicine, Harvard Medical School and Geisinger Health Systems, among others. The forum focuses on peer-to-peer learning, case studies, and first-hand experience and offers attendees a wealth of practical information.
